Cardcaptor Sakura is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by the manga group Clamp. It also known as Card Captor Sakura and often abbreviated as CCS. The story takes place in the fictional Japanese city of Tomoeda which is somewhere near Tokyo. The main character Sakura Kinomoto is your garden-variety ten-year-old fourth grader, until one day, she stumbles upon a mysterious book containing a set of cards.
